Data Strategy and Analysis

Oftentimes, educational institutions are rich with data but don’t have the time, capacity, or resources to be able to dig deeply into the data they have, or generate a strategy they can use to make their data work for them. JLEDS consulting supports districts in identifying the data strategy that is right for them by conducting a thorough review of what data exists, the current state of the strategy to utilize data, and identify and propose a future state that can work for the entire educational community.

JLEDS consulting facilitates data literacy conversation with educators and administrators, so that they better understand data shared about students, and offers strategies to use both what they’re seeing, and what they know about students, to create plans to improve students’ experiences.

In addition to data literacy trainings, we offer opportunities to improve data infrastructure development through identifying and recommending low-cost tools to collect and house information that are sustainable given any set of resources and capacity a district may have.

When specific goals of a district exist (e.g., “We want to improve how we use academic performance data to serve our students”), JLEDS consulting will take a deep dive into the components of the challenge and offer suggestions for how to improve processes that will help to reach specific goals.

Finally, utilizing rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis approaches, JLEDS offers districts a suite of options for providing data analytic support to address short- or long-term questions they would like answered.
