• Jim Lauckhardt, Ph.D. - Principal Consultant

    With over 15 year of experience working in the field of youth development and education, Jim has helped countless educational insittutions leverage data and information to inform decision making. Jim has worked within government institutions helping to shape educaitonal policy, at educational research institutions to help evaluate the quality of curriculum, educational programming, data strategy, and long-term planning approaches of schools and districts across the country, and has worked at non-profit organizations with international reach to leverage data and information to take action that improves the lives of young people. Jim is passionate about helping people to understand the value of data while also incorporating important elements such as lived experience, personal preferences, and the “can’t put my finger on it” magic that often happens in the classroom and across educational communities.

    Jim received his Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology with a focus on educational research from Fordham University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from The Pennsylvania State University.

    Jim lives in Long Island, NY with his wife and three children, and enjoys exploring the outdoors in all seasons, coaching his kids sports, and spending time with friends and family.

  • Leah Glass, Ph.D. - Principal Consultant

    Leah Glass is a critical, mixed-methods researcher. She completed her PhD in Sociology at the CUNY Graduate Center and previously earned a Master's degree in quantitative methods from NYU's Applied Quantitative Research program. She frequently uses ethnography, participant observation, and interviews in conjunction with surveys and other quantitative methods.

    Leah brings her academic talents to the applied world in user and product research, evaluation, strategy, and organizational culture. She has designed and administered innovative surveys, created and conducted quantitative and qualitative evaluations, designed new data collection tools, and led teams on workshops and trainings on racism, whiteness, and equity. Using her critical lens, she has helped incorporate student-centered, participatory-action research methods into her work.

  • Denice Kelley

    Denice Kelley - Principal Consultant

    Denice Kelley is a seasoned org strategist, coach, and leader who brings her multi-disciplinary background to each project - with 20 years of experience providing consulting services, such as strategic planning, organizational assessments, and workshops to myriad organizations spanning the non -profit and for-profit landscape. She is enthusiastic about helping organizations align leadership, DEI, and systems to create truly effective and inclusive organizational practices and programs that lead to impactful results.

    Denice holds a Masters in Leadership and Organizational Performance from Vanderbilt University, a Masters of Divinity from Yale University, and a B.A. in American Race and Ethnic Studies from Whitman College. When Denice is not working she is an avid board gamer and loves exploring all aspects of the arts, from writing mysteries to supporting local theater.
